Summer.

So it's August, and last night I was thinking of all the things I have done in the past two months. Well I have done a lot, lots of traveling haha. June, started out the summer just relaxing at home, then July 1st, I headed out on a big white bus with people form my youth group to Logan, West Virgina! This was not my first missions trip, but it was different from all the other ones I had ever been on. When we arrived, we couldn't drive our bus through town, because our bus was so big and the town was so small. We were staying at a church/school, that the name is slipping me right now. We were staying in classrooms, full of bunks, and air conditioned! (:  The weather for that week was ridiculously hot! and the week before we came, a huge storm had come through and wrecked a lot of things, and lots of our activities had gotten changed because of the loss of power. But we all made the best of it, it was awesome, I got to work with a work site crew, working on a wheelchair ramp for a lady named Connie.  It was out of my comfort zone, working with hammers and saws but the experience was amazing! Seeing God work in so many places that week was just amazing, he really broke my heart, for what breaks his. I was able to get a whole new insight on life, I realized how much I have, and how much I get to have. It really made me more thankful for all the simple things like showers and air conditioning. West Virgina was an overall amazing experience, and Im so blessed I was able to go on that trip! After I got home, I did laundry, re-packed and headed off to Canada to spend a week with my cousin at my grandmas house. We always get spoiled and that usually messes with my stomach ;P
That was a great week, relaxing, spending time talking and lots and lots of swimming! This summer is especially bittersweet for me, because it is my 'last' of things I have done for a while. Hopefully December I will joining  the job hunters world, and get a temporary job for a couple months. I also went to Teen classic summer camp, but I have decided that deserves its own post, because I have so much to share about those couple of days! (: Stay tuned!
